Alex Jones covers up her blossoming bump in a statement coat as she leaves The One Show in London

She recently bonded with guest and fellow mum Cheryl on The One Show.

But Alex Jones cut a solo figure as she left yet another night of filming for the popular episode on Monday.

The host, 41, who is pregnant with her second child, looked absolutely glowing as she covered up her blossoming bump in a statement coat and green jumper.

Alex added to the casual look with a pair of skinny jeans and comfortable trainers, while toting her belongings in a chic handbag.

Her striking features were enhanced with a subtle slick of make-up, complementing her sleek shoulder length locks.

Recently, the TV presenter interviewed singer Cheryl on the episode and after her appearance, shared a photo of the pair alongside her The Greatest Dancer co-judge Oti Mabuse and The One Show’s Matt Baker. ikutqq

She wrote: ‘Lovely to have these girls on tonight, the live final of #thegreatestdancer sound ah-mazing!!! Nice to compare notes on our little boys with @cherylofficial.’

Alex is mum to Teddy, who will turn two next week, while Cheryl’s son Bear, whose dad is One Direction star Liam Payne, will be two in March.

Shortly before the festive period, Alex made the big reveal that she is expecting her second child with her husband Charlie Thompson.

While in the company of Matt Baker, she quipped on The One Show: ‘Now I’ve not been on the mince pies! There is a baby, look!’

The television host was forthcoming in documenting her and her husband’s struggle to conceive for a second time.

She told The Sun: ‘I suppose I’m older now, but we took it for granted that it would be OK.

‘But you don’t really know until you start trying how it’s going to go, do you?

‘The majority of couples I know have had something, not always IVF, but some problem that needs to be sorted out.

‘Suddenly you see someone pregnant or with a newborn and you don’t really hark back to what happened before because everyone’s just delighted there’s a baby.’
